Welcome to Photo Pincher Photoblog. My name is Noel Williams. I a Christian, but I label myself hobbyist photographer. I have never had any formal training in photography. And I have never attended any photography seminars. My knowledge about photography comes from books and tutorials I bought online. I started out making pictures of my environment. But I soon realise that that was too much of a drag for me. After coming home from my 8-5 job, I was too tired to go out and shoot. I knew I had to come up with an option that would keep me excited about photography. So, I started to make pictures of food, and I did not have to leave the comfort of my home. I am still learning. But, I have come a long way from where I was. Thanks so much for stopping.

“Even If”–MercyMe

Our commitment to follow Christ should be a lifelong undertaking. But sometimes we need encouragement to help us along the way. Because as humans we are prone to making decisions that are often not in our best long-term interests.

Back in Biblical Days, God uses the prophet Isaiah as a mouthpiece, to encourage and educate the people. In Isaiah 41, and verse 10 God offered the people words of encouragement. It was at a time when the people were going through tough times from the hands of the king of Assyria. The people had grown impatient with God. They thought He was not answering their prayers for freedom. Many of them had lost their way. But through the prophet, Isaiah, God was able to get His message through to the people. He reminded them that He was still their God. And His promises to them holds.

“Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand”, (Isaiah 40:10).

Contemporary Christian music band, MercyMe, is like a present-day Isaiah. They encourage and educate people through songs. Here is one of their most inspiring testimonies. “Even If”.
