Are you stuck in a bad situation? God will pull you out.

Are you stuck in a bad situation? God will pull you out.
Time and again God came through for people who were in dire straits. Whether it was Daniel in a den of hungry lions, the swindler, Jacob fleeing Laban, scrawny young David biting off more than he could chew and agree to duel the giant, Goliath, Peter locked up in prison awaiting execution, or the three Hebrew boys in a fiery furnace.

God never failed to come through for those who genuinely need help. He is always there for you. And though He may not come when you want Him, he is always on time.

Nothing is impossible with God. So, whatever the situation you are stuck in, God is more that able to pull you out. Whether it’s something in your past, the nagging supervisor at your job that you cannot stand, or something to do with your finances or your relationships.

But it is important to understand that God does not impose His will on anyone. Here is what Jesus says about this. “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be open for you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.“” (Matthew 7:7-8).

Therefore, my friends. God is the silver line beneath your dark clouds. You only have to reach out to Him. He is the same Yesterday, today and forever. He parted the seas, calmed storms, closed the mouth of hungry lions and quench the heat of fiery furnaces. He always makes a way when it seems there is no way.

Lord I lift Your Name on High

Worship Wednesday:

Dear Father, forgive me when I lose sight of what is really important in life. Help me to keep my eyes focused on Your truth. Enable me to show others that you are the real treasure in life.

1 Chronicles 16:23-31 (NIV)

 Sing to the Lord, all the earth;
proclaim His salvation day after day.
Declare his glory among the nations,
his marvelous deeds among all peoples.

For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise;
He is to be feared above all gods.
For all the gods of the nations are idols,
but the Lord made the heavens.
Splendor and majesty are before Him;
strength and joy are in His dwelling place.

Ascribe to the Lord, all you families of nations,
ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name;
bring an offering and come before Him.
Worship the Lord in the splendor of His holiness.
Tremble before Him, all the earth!
The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved.

Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad;
let them say among the nations, “The Lord reigns!”

Jesus is calling–Amy Grant

 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
