Being true to Jesus may be difficult, discouraging, and even dangerous at times, but it is never pointless or wasted. 1 Corinthians 15:28 “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor for the Lord is not in vain.”
What is the best gift we can give God today? In gratitude, humility, and love we can give our hearts, minds, and will entirely to Him.
Romans 12:1: “I beseech you, therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”
Just like our parents whose arms are a safe retreat from danger, God’s comforting presence protects us from life’s emotional storms. The Bible says “He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings, you will find refuge,” Psalm 91:4
