Dear Jesus, I pray for everyone in America. I pray that one day, we can all get along and be happy together. I pray for those who continue to sow hate and division. Soften their hearts Lord, and remove the scales from their eyes. Help them to see and accept your truth and strive to become good Samaritans.
I pray for those who have little or nothing at all; some of whom have worked all their lives tirelessly. Now, they have hit hard times. Gone are the days of plenty for them. Many of them do not know where the next meal comes from. Give them courage, Lord, give them hope. Send them a good Samaritan, preferably one who will not judge.
Father, I am thankful for what you gave me and what I will receive in the future. Give me the spirit of caring and sharing, so when I gather the harvest, I do not store it up for myself alone.
Jesus, I thank you for my family, and I thank you for my friends. Lord, I thank you for placing me among some of the most incredible people. Thanks for giving me the chance to live and thanks for teaching me how to forgive my trespassers.
Father, I thank you for my legs so I can walk on your beautiful earth, I thank you for my eyes, so I can see the beautiful things in life, and I thank you for letting me be me.
Bless those in need and bless those who are suffering, that they can be healed. Bless those who continue to dedicate time and resources to help the poor and needy. Heavenly Father, You are our leader, our savior. You have sacrificed your life for us and asked for nothing in return.
Amen
