Does your life reflect who you are?

Inspiration

It doesn’t matter where you come from; the life you live reflect who you are. Some of us may try to fake it, but in due time the real you will reveal itself.

So, as Christians, it is in our best interest to live our lives within the boundaries of the teachings of Jesus Christ. We must not forget that even though we are living in this world, we are not of this world.

We are special. The great apostle, Peter, writes the following:

1 Peter 2:9-10 New King James Version (NKJV)
9 You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10 who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

And because we are a peculiar people who have had our unique Damascus road experiences. Jesus calls us the light of the world and the salt of the earth. And God has set apart to carry out work. Therefore, we must live our lives accordingly.
In his letter to the Church in Ephesus, Apostle Paul writes the following:

Ephesians 4 New International Version (NIV)
4 As a prisoner for the Lord, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.

Jesus is our High Priest

Isn’t it a beautiful thing to know that we have a real impartial High Priest in heaven, who is acting on our behalf? He pleads our cases equally, to the Father. And nobody has to worry that He might sell you out.

Jesus is our High Priest and defender, and although sometimes it seems He is not listening; the truth is, He is working hard to declare your case null and void and to redeem you of your trespasses.

So, my friends, though your valleys are deep and wide, and your hills and mountains are steep and rocky hang tight. Rest assured that our High Priest is doing the right thing for everyone.
