On April 22, more than one billion people around the globe will take part in Earth Day 2012 and help Mobilize the Earth™. People of all nationalities and backgrounds will voice their appreciation for the planet and demand its protection. Together we will stand united for a sustainable future and call upon individuals, organizations, and governments to do their part.
Attend a local Earth Day event and join one of our Earth Day campaigns as we collect A Billion Acts of Green® and elevate the importance of environmental issues around the world.
The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness,
The world and those who dwell therein.
For He has founded it upon the seas,
And established it upon the waters. (Psalm 24:1)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it (John 1:1-5).
“The wealth of the nation is its air, water, soil, forests, minerals, rivers, lakes, oceans, scenic beauty, wildlife habitats and biodiversity… that’s all there is. That’s the whole economy. That’s where all the economic activity and jobs come from. These biological systems are the sustaining wealth of the world.” Gaylord Nelson.
Great topic, Noel! The earth, the handiwork of God, is neglected and taken for granted so often! May we strive to do better every day! God bless you!

Thank you very much for your comment,Minister Paulette. Isn’t it amazing that God knew before time what man would need to sustain himself. Everything comes from the earth.
God bless you Minister Paulette! Your continued support is greatly appreciated.

The great “balancing act” for Christians is to protect nature, while yet using it for our benefit. The Lord made this world for our use and benefit, our responsibility is not to misuse and abuse it. Thanks for the reminder to be conscious of the effects of our actions on God’s creation.
